In 2024, the LIFE4Siegerlandscapes project established a demonstration site on former spruce areas focusing on deciduous forest planting. The site showcases different types of browse protection and various planting concepts using native deciduous tree species.

During this event, we will visit the site and evaluate which tree species, browse protections, and planting methods work best.

We will stay on paved paths with gentle inclines throughout the visit.
