While Siegfried 01 was spotted at the nest in the project area (SPA) together with other red kites at the beginning of March, Sieglinde 01 was still in France. However, due to the urgency of the situation, she returned on March 4.
Jasmin 01 has also arrived back at the SPA on March 1 after an 11-day return journey.
WB-01, GS-01, and B-01 are still staying in Spain and enjoying the sun there.
Siggi 01, WB-02 †, WB-03 †, and GS-02 † have unfortunately died.
All except Siggi fell victim to natural predation. The cause of Siggi’s death is currently still under investigation.
The transmitter of B-02 has failed, so there is currently no up-to-date data available.
