In cooperation with the project "Natur Digital Begreifen" we want to show you hidden processes in the bird conservation area "Wälder und Wiesen bei Burbach und Neunkirchen" as well as in the Tiergarten in Siegen.

There are several modules planned which give insights into the plant and animal world, prepared for diffent age groups.

For now there are already wildlife cameras as well as our nesting cameras, which give you insights into the life and breeding procedure of animals of the forrest and birds of prey.

Also we have our "twittering trees" in action. Here tree circumfences and sap flow of oaks and beeches can be observed. One of each tree is equipped with sap flow sensors and dendrometers in our project area and in the Tiergarten.

More modules like "emperors of the sky" with a microphone plus automated identification program for identifying singing birds are planned already.

Last but not least we created a citizen science reporting portal and a webapp in cooperation with the NABU Naturgucker, where everyone can report animal sightings.
