On June 11, 12, and 13, 2025, together with our partner project LIFE EUROKITE and with support from the NRW Foundation and the Stöckmann Foundation, we tagged a total of 8 juvenile and 3 adult red kites. A detailed description of the tagging process can be found HERE.

For each tagged red kite, you can explore data recorded during tagging, including information on sex, age, weight, and wing length. The current location of the birds is updated regularly. Flight maps allow tracking of the distances they have traveled. For birds still within the nesting area, flight routes are uploaded without a map background to protect the nest site.
